Hatcher Garden Photography Contest 2026
Hatcher Garden and Woodland Preserve is once again having a photography contest. Do you have a great landscape picture that you have taken at Hatcher Garden & Woodland Preserve? Submit it to our Hatcher Garden Photography Contest. The calendar’s theme will be the Landscapes of Hatcher Garden. Thirteen amateur winning photographs will be chosen to become our 2027 Hatcher Garden Calendar. The Grand Prize Winning photograph will be featured on the cover of the calendar. Review the best pictures you have taken during the past six months or shoot some new ones.
We are looking for wide/panoramic shots that showcase the landscape, pathways, water features, bridges, woodland areas or sweeping garden scenes. THINK BIG PICTURE - images that highlight the natural beauty and sense of place that make Hatcher Garden so special. Submissions can be made starting March 1st.
Pictures must be:
Wide or landscape-style shots.
Not close-up photos of flowers, insects or small details.
Images that clearly represent the broader setting and atmosphere of Hatcher Garden.

Open to amateur photographers SORRY NO PROFESSIONALS
(Ages 17 or younger will require guardian approval)Photos must be taken at Hatcher Garden & Woodland Preserve within the last six months.
All photographs are to be submitted to info@hatchergarden.org by midnight on June 1, 2026.
Select your High-Resolution picture that is at least 300 dpi, that is crisp (not blurry) and clean. Photos are to be submitted in tiff, jpeg or png formats. Minor digital enhancement is allowed Photos cannot be altered by AI or filters. All submissions must have no borders, frames or text. The calendar will be landscape mode in appearance (11" wide by 8.5" tall) . No square or portrait mode pictures please.
