Luminaries at the Garden Entry

On a chilly February 13th evening, the Send Your Love Luminary Walk was held. Valentines that had been created by the children at the Anchor House were collected from the Jess Taylor Pavilion and were stapled to white luminaries. The decorated luminaries were placed along the path beginning at the Garden Entry and leading into the Children’s Garden. Visitors walked the paths to see the decorated luminaries and those who purchased the valentines in memory or honor of a loved one were offered the opportunity to take their luminary home. In the Children’s Garden, a DJ was setting the mood with songs about love. Stationed at the Jess Taylor Pavilion, the Grumpy Goose was providing warm beverages (lattes, matcha and hot chocolate) to stave off the night chill.
