Inaugural Artist in Residence - Sandi Gerner

This January, we were thrilled to welcome our first-ever Artist in Residence!

Hatcher Garden & Woodland Preserve is honored to introduce Sandi Gerner, our first Artist in Residence. Sandi’s work beautifully weaves together art, nature, and community—making her the perfect fit for the Garden’s mission of inspiration, education, and connection.

Throughout her residency, Sandi will create, explore, and engage with visitors, drawing inspiration from the Garden’s woods, pathways, and seasons. Her presence marks an exciting new chapter at Hatcher Garden—where creativity and nature grow side by side.

At Twilight in the Garden, one of the items up for auction will be a Paint and Sip workshop (or playshop :) ) with Sandi for ten people. Stay tuned for workshops, open studio moments, and the art that will bloom from this special collaboration.
