The Library is Open! The Free Little Library that is!
As part of the completion of the Children’s Garden Gazebo, Little Free Library number 49409, that had been at the old Children’s Gazebo, was placed at its new location. The former gazebo had been located on the Thomas W. Bartram Trail before Hurricane Helene flattened the gazebo. Originally built and donated by Girl Scout Troop 2678, the little free library was awaiting the completion of the new Children’s Gazebo at its new location in the Children’s Garden. The library contains children’s books, ages 0 - 11. Also finishing off the gazebo was the wooden ramp leading to the gazebo for our handicap visitors. It like the rest of the gazebo has been finished with a protective stain.
