Twilight In The Garden and October's Pumpkin Path Cancelled for 2020

After being postponed to September earlier this year, the Board of Directors of Hatcher Garden decided to cancel Twilight in the Garden for 2020 due to the uncertain containment and spread of the CoVid-19 virus in recent months. We, at Hatcher Garden, had hoped that the virus would have been contained by summer. But recent outbreaks over the holidays and premature openings in some sectors have caused an increase of confirmed cases (in some states, 1000 a day) and deaths. We value our patrons and do not want to put them at any unnecessary risk. Hatcher Garden and its Board of Trustees would like to thank the corporations and individuals for their generosity in supporting the 2020 Twilight in the Garden and we look forward to seeing you in 2021!

This year’s children-oriented Pumpkin Path which usually occurs the Thursday before Halloween also has been cancelled. Due to the increasing popular participation of the community, (we had over 3000 visitors last year!) it is not be possible to safely socially distance our young trick-or-treaters and guardians.
