The Children's Gazebo Now at the Children's Garden
A year ago the Children’s Gazebo, originally located on the Mary Black Foundation Woodland Trail, was demolished when Hurricane Helene swept through the Upstate. The gazebo has been rebuilt in the Children’s Garden, where it overlooks a pond, fed by a small waterfall. The pond features water plants like papyrus, pitcher plants and water lilies, which make a return appearance to Hatcher Garden. Over 25 years ago, water lilies grew in the Upper Pond before the water system was updated.
The waterlilies have returned and are bloomimg!
