Santa in the (Children's) Garden

On a chilly Saturday morning, which happened to be St. Nicholas Day, children gathered to visit with the old toymaker and his wife, Mrs. Claus. After sharing their wish lists and getting a photo with the jolly ole elf, children decorated an iced cookie with jimmies and assorted candies. Some choose the opportunity to sit a spell and color a wood ornament and others a coloring page.

The recently completed Children's Gazebo was festooned with ornaments and lights for the occasion. The decorations will remain up throughout the Christmas season if you want to stop by for a family picture.
