Our First Trades Camp invites youth to roll up their sleeves and explore hands-on careers in the skilled trades working with skilled tradespeople. Lessons in conservation, tool use, and problem-solving that fit each participant’s interests is the aim of this camp for rising 6th - 12th graders. Hatcher Garden’s mission is to connect our community with nature through practical, outdoor learning.

The program for each of the four days is determined by the weather and garden conditions. Class subjects focus on artistic expression in the various habitats at Hatcher Garden.
