Come join Jeff, our Horticulturist,
every Thursday from 9am-noon or
these Saturdays from 9am-noon :

Bring gloves and hand pruners.
We need your help to keep the garden growing!
Not good at digging? Volunteers may also assist in administrative
capacities, such as writing articles or editing the newsletter,
helping to coordinate special events at the Garden, fundraising,
preparing direct mailings and other office procedures.
Leading special groups on a tour through the Garden is another
wonderful way to volunteer. Good speakers are needed to make off-site
presentations to civic and garden clubs. Contact the Garden Office
to set up an opportunity.
VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION
PROGRAM
We need your support to keep the garden growing!
Here's how it works:
The first time you come out to volunteer, you'll receive a Hatcher
Garden bumper sticker as an appreciation gift and we'll take your
picture to put on the Volunteer Recognition Board.
Every month you come out to volunteer we'll take your picture and
put it on the Volunteer Recognition Board.
When you put in a total of 10 hours of volunteer time, you'll have
your choice of a Hatcher Garden T-shirt or hat. We'd like for you
to wear these when you come out to volunteer to show that you support
the Garden. Plus, you'll be eligible to be featured in the newsletter
under the 'Volunteer Spotlight' column.
By earning the Hatcher Garden T-shirt or hat, you're now invited
to the Volunteer Recognition Party! There will be refreshments,
awards and plenty of socializing.
Without Volunteers, we wouldn't be able to stay open. You make
a huge contribution to making Hatcher Garden what it is.
Volunteer of the Year Award
We would like to recognize an individual who has shown up a lot
and really dug in. To be eligible you must have worked in the Garden
each season and be nominated by the Volunteer Committee.
This means you really helped the garden grow! |
