Commercial Photo and Video Policy | Contract
Effective April
4, 2001
The garden is
available to be rented as a site for commercial photographers. Commercial
photography for weddings and promotional materials such as brochures,
ads, catalogs, special print sections, slides, etc., the purpose
of which is to sell any product or service other than Hatcher Garden
and Woodland Preserve events, exhibits, or facilities, is allowed
at the discretion of staff as to the appropriateness of the product
and relevance to the garden's mission.
Rates
The
following rates apply for groups of 10 or fewer, including crew
and talent. For larger groups, please call for a quote. Fees for
large television groups will be substantially higher.

Guidelines
The crew must
abide by any additional verbal restrictions placed on it during
the session. Hatcher Garden and Woodland Preserve reserves the right
to cancel or terminate the session at any time the crew is not abiding
by the guidelines or verbal restrictions placed on them by the staff.
All crew members,
equipment, models, and merchandise must remain on pathways.
Moving planters
and furniture is prohibited.
Staff must approve
all props and clothing.
No dangerous
activity will be allowed, and no activity damaging to the garden
property will be allowed.
No political,
religious, or fund-raising organizations are permitted to use the
garden as a photography location.
Please be courteous
of visitors to the garden. Personnel and equipment may not block
traffic flow.
Because the
garden is open to the public daily, the garden staff and/or public
cannot be expected to maintain quiet to accommodate the photography
session.
The full amount
of the location fee is due the day before the shooting begins. The
fee is entirely refundable in the case of inclement weather.
Shoots must
be approved and scheduled one week in advance
with Joe Mullinax, Executive Director 864/574-7724.
